I’m thrilled you’re here

Hi, I’m Joanne and welcome to Prajna Health.  A place where you can find space, peace, growth and renewal, a true and well self.  Thank you for joining me and taking some time to learn more about me, what it is I do and how I can help you reconnect to your inner wisdom to embrace wholeness & wellness.

My Journey

After immersing myself in my own personal growth journey, I serendipitously discovered my innate calling to serve and help others on a personal level.  As a wife, mother of two, corporate professional, and health practitioner, I understand what it’s like to have lots on the go whilst prioritising your own well-being.

Throughout my learnings and experiences, I have come to realise that true change and happiness starts within ourselves. Exploring who we are, what it is we want and why. Essentially, understanding what truly matters in life.

And so, through a combination of ancient wisdom, positive self-development, integrative nutrition and mind-body medicine practices, I am on a mission to help others reduce stress, achieve optimal health and live purposefully.

I am passionate about teaching others how to add health to their everyday life, tailored specifically to suit their unique individual needs and lifestyle.

My key Philosophies

My intention is to help others reconnect to their intuitive wisdom to find healing within, bring clarity to limiting subconscious patterns/beliefs and help people make positive and lasting changes in order to live their true potential. It is also my intention to help others access stillness, calmness and awareness to the preciousness of living in the present moment despite the busyness of life.

What does health mean to me?

A state of holistic wellbeing not merely the absence of disease.  Health is about balancing our whole self in mind, body and spirit. Adding a level of intention to every aspect of our lives.  Nurturing and nourishing ourselves so that we may flourish and thrive.

Our career, relationships, spirituality, physical activity, and other lifestyle factors – all play an important role in improving our overall health and wellbeing not just what’s on our plate. We’re not only hungry for and nourished by food; we need love, movement, stability, adventure, a higher purpose, and self-expression in our lives to thrive.

What is prajna (pronounced pra-jna)

Prajna is a Sanskrit word which translates to “ultimate wisdom”. Pra meaning ‘before’ or ‘supreme’ and Jna meaning ‘knowledge’, ‘consciousness’ or ‘understanding’. In Buddhism, Prajna is transcendental wisdom or supreme knowledge gained through intuitive insight.

It is integrated into one’s life for the purpose of helping others advance in a positive way.

“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.”
